We completed this interior condo remodel in Sunriver the week before Christmas. About 6 weeks in total and about 2 weeks ahead of schedule. This is a great Winter remodeling project for “Snowbird” residents in Sunriver. The house was empty which allowed us to really take care of business in a quick but professional pace. When we began the project the cabinets covered up the opening to the dining room from the kitchen. We removed them and configured them to fit along the wall thus opening the room and saving cabinet space as well. We added new flooring, new paint, new countertops and a new laundry area. We converted a previously seldom used bedroom into a media room and made it more accessible by adding a “pocket” door.
Our project on #2 Alberello began on October 30 with a complete gutting of the interior of the entire home. As we progress through the project we will removing several of the log accent posts and replacing the removed flooring with new hardwood floors and tile. The midway photos are on the left. Shown here, we have removed the two tall accent logs to create a more spacious living/dining area. Also, we removed the cabinets from the “window” area separating the kitchen from the dining/living areas. This creates a more open environment.
